Only a few more weeks until the summer season is officially over! I crave the cool, crisp, cozy days of autumn, and coquettish over-the-knee socks worn with oversized knit sweaters. I can’t wait to be wrapped up in a blanket by a crackling fire with a book and journal… lost in my daydreams. I’m ready for the scent of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove mixed into sliced apples hidden under a buttery pie crust. ‘Tis the season for baking! And the leaves will wear their beautiful rust colors, the landscape shimmering like a copper pot. A wondrous display of nature’s magic before they fall away to cover the ground, leaving bare branches to catch the first silent snowflakes.

Seasons change; I love this time of going inward.
